# 1 “on the night of July 30,
2011 to be exact, something very special is going to happen...” I wonder what this
event could possibly be, since my aunt dies in May of 2010. This is some of the best
indicators I can show you that these SCAM letters are not only fake (actually fraudulent)
but that they are no more personal than any other junk mail you get. They are created
by the thousands on a computer. The name and address come from a mailing list file that
the SCAMmers buy. They obviously are not very up-to-date. The files have separate pieces of
text for the gender (“Mr.” or “Mrs.”), first and last name, the
street address, city, state, and zip code. This makes it very simple for a computer
program, such as a word processor, to insert these items where ever they need to go in the
SCAM letter. This a well known process that has been on use for 30+ years. It has been in
use on what we call ‘personal computers’ for much of that time. If you have a
computer, you can even do it yourself.

# 2 This SCAMmer never actually defines
what her “specialty” or “qualifications” are, but we can certainly
see what she is not! She just ‘wrote’ that “a Black Moon is [...] when
the moon is hidden by the shadow of the Earth?!” And that “there are 13 each
year”. Perhaps “Ms. Duval” is confusing the rare 13 occurrences of a
“new” moon in one year. There is the number “13”, but in a slightly
different color and the moon is not “hidden” at all!

# 4 At least this SCAMmer is not
telling you that she knows everything that you need; she doesn’t even know how much
money you actually need! I think this must be the only SCAM on my site that has admitted
this, even indirectly!

all the SCAM mailing lists?! THAT would really be something to be happy about!

“talisman” for you. This one is not made of paper, but like all the others,
it is very thin. So thin, in fact, you are asked to cut it in half with nothing but plain
scissors! I don’t think you need to worry about damaging your scissors, however.
