Red Flag  # 1

“Initial Consultation”

“This consultation was executed on behalf of First_Name Last_Name this the 21st of July.

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Meredith Lane” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

“Dear First_Name,

“Thank you for your recent inquiry and expression of confidence. I could feel the urgency you expressed was sincere, so I put my other work aside and went straight to work on your case. Here is what I have found.

Red Flag  # 2  “Oh, but first First_Name, let me say this. I’m not going to ask you for any money for this work. I’m strangely drawn to you, like we have shared something in the past. Kindred spirits if you will. Maybe that’s why you contacted me to begin with.

Red Flag  # 3  “Purposely or not, you gave me little to work with. Since I was not able to touch you or hold something personal of yours, it was pretty difficult to make a psychic link with you. However, through prayer I was able to make this link. My [censored], First_Name, everything you said was true. Please have a seat, take a deep breath and brace yourself.

“First_Name, excuse my candor here but there is someone stabbing you in the back! Possibly two individuals. I believe you have a pretty good idea who I am seeing here. For starters, they are talking behind your back. Secondly, their negativity is bringing you down. Finally and perhaps most importantly, they are going to attempt to take advantage of you financially. Here is what you must do to avoid their clutches.

Red Flag  # 4  “In the middle of August, between the 17th and 21st, you will receive a letter. It will come certified and concern a financial disbursement due you that at present you know nothing about. I see more than $27,000 dollars. When this happens, tell no one! Keep it a secret until the money is collected and placed safely away. Even then, I see no reason for you to say anything. If you ignore this advice, I see a swindle of some sort taking place to cheat you out of this money. Please remember this First_Name.

“Another serious warning. I’ve seen this as clear as day. If you leave your residence on the evening of Thursday, September 1st, tragedy could strike. I believe you could be assaulted or robbed. At present, I see no way to avert this fate except for you to stay home. This is serious and it worries me. Please stay home!

“Next, lets discuss some of your feelings of despair. Look, I understand that money is tight, that your prayers seem to go unanswered, and that your life is not going exactly as planned. I’ve examined your circumstances and I completely understand. First_Name, please listen closely. Everything will be alright. I have tremendous news. Your luck is about to change.

“I concede that your circumstances are complicated. For simplicity sake, I would like to organize things into three areas and then attack each separately. Yes, one overlaps the other but this is how I like to do things. I wish to address; 1. unanswered prayers and misfortunes, 2. love, family and matters of the heart, 3. money, finances and material prosperity.

Red Flag  # 5 Unanswered Prayers and Misfortunes- Your run of unfavorable luck and what seems like an inability to have prayers consistently answered, I discovered, is no fault of your own. Two problems exist. First, a lot of negative karma is attached to you that was brought about by someone else in your family. Second, you have just finished a negative astrocycle[sic] that has been going on for nearly 2 years. If you agree, I’ll perform a cleansing ceremony that will remove the negative karma. This will fully expunge the first problem.

“The negative astrocycle[sic] ends on the 14th of August. On the 2nd of September, you begin a new astrocycle[sic] that will subject you to extreme good luck for 84 days. We must work closely during these 84 days. With my guidance, prayers and spiritual magic, everything you have ever dreamed of can and will be yours by the end of this period. For example, in this cycle I see you winning money on September 7th, September 22nd, October 9th, October 22nd and November 19th. One of these five days will be the big one! I am going to pray for hours until I derive the numbers, the locations and even the times of day that you shall require for this to happen. As you will see, this is going to be an astrocycle[sic] of incredible opportunity for you.

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Meredith Lane” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

Red Flag  # 6 Love, Family and Matters of the Heart- First_Name, these 84 days are going to provide you with a once in a lifetime opportunity to set everything straight. We can put an end to family battles. You are going to find incredible support as you have never known. And your own love and affection is going to work wonders for a desperate loved one. Towards these ends, I shall perform a family prayer ceremony perfect for this situation. Without your express permission, I hesitate to reveal much about romance and matters of the heart. I will say that if you are ready, love is prepared to smile upon you. It’s time to let your heart express what your mind denies. Am I being clear, First_Name?;

Money, Finances and Material Prosperity- Your financial situation will start changing on the 14th of August in ways that you can not imagine today. Gone can be your every debt and worry. Remember First_Name, I have already touched on the fact that you can soon win huge sums of money. Incredibly, there are even more opportunities that are going to present themselves. For example, on either the 7th or 8th of September, an opportunity to secure an enormous estate worth a fortune will present itself. And you will not be required to invest a single penny to secure it. Amazing.

“If you are prepared to take proper action, follow my advice, and be receptive to the opportunities that I shall help you recognize, you could soon find yourself in a position to describe yourself as independently wealthy. Most of those whom I work with are of substantial means.

“There is so much that you need to know, First_Name, and there is much to do on your behalf in order for all of this to come to be. It will require performing prayer ceremonies daily for the entire 84 days. I will need to prepare numerous items of holy magic and rush them to you. I must cast spells, execute secret rituals and send protection. At the end of these 84 days, you will be healthy, you will be loved, and marvelously wealthy.

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Meredith Lane” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

“Are you ready, First_Name? Everything that I have told you is true. You know that I have the power or you wouldn’t have contacted me in the first place. Now is the time to reveal the secrets that will change your life.

“First_Name, I have included an article in which I reveal secrets about my work. Please read it now. [here is a link to it] There is also a sealed envelope enclosed, that is very important. There is powerful magic contained in this envelope. As well as a personal secret intended for you, and only you. You have to decide if we are going to proceed, because if you and I are not going to work together, you must not open this envelope.

This is serious, First_Name.

“If you do not wish to proceed, if you do not desire my intervention and friendship, THEN THE ENVELOPE ENCLOSED WITH THE SEAL OF CONFIDENTIALITY, IS NOT FOR YOU! Dispose of it and never think of me again.

“But I have to tell you, that would break my heart. I feel strongly that we are establishing a relationship that is important to me and vital to you. Therefore, read the article enclosed. And then return everything with the application and $25 dollars to Translation Press. I have sent you an envelope to use. Before sending everything, open the sealed envelope. You will find something inside that must be returned to me with your application. You will find the instructions easy to follow. Do this right now, First_Name. Nothing could be so important that you put this off.

“God be with you.

A personal note from

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Meredith Lane” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

Meredith Lane

“As I mentioned, I have a secret for you. I didn’t want to share this with you until you had decided we were going to work together. I was afraid that it would unduly influence your decision

“I explained that although I had no personal item of yours to work with, through prayer I was able to obtain a psychic link with you. Something I saw amazed me.

“Are you aware of your own incredible psychic gifts? It appears that had it not been for an unusual event in your childhood, you may well have become a professional psychic and healer yourself.

“I know how to restore these psychic powers! On your behalf I will Invoke a Triangle of Power. To do this, I join with two of my sisters, both powerful psychics in their own rights. We will join hands in a triangle and pray. This produces a psychic energy which rises from the bottom of our triangle to an apex of which we extend to you. When this psychic tower reaches peak intensity, its power is released and this will restore your psychic gift.

“During the Triangle of Power, I will be able to gain your personal Mantra. This you will use to increase your own psychic sensitivity and power. I will send this to you. It will help you focus your newly rediscovered gift.

“I suggest that you do not reveal these powers to anyone until you become comfortable using them. They will start to materialize in less than a month and increase throughout the next year. I will share more with you when I send you your personal psychic mantra.

Image of 'amulet'

Red Flag  # 8 Please follow these instructions carefully: Enclosed is an amulet that will hold your psychic vibrations for us. I need you to hold it for a few seconds while you concentrate on a miracle that you would like to have materialize in your life. Doing this will burn in a very strong impression. After doing so, return this to me with your application. This is all we will need to complete a psychic link with you. We will be able to perform your Triangle of Power and restart your psychic abilities. Also, this miracle you have chosen will be the first to come from us working together.

“When I send everything back to you, I will take the time and counsel you on the use of your new powers. Be prepared, because everything will change. For instance, you will start making very intuitive decisions. You will seem to be lucky at everything. And no one will ever be able to lie to you again. Just watch, you’ll see.

Red Flag  # 1  I received an almost exact duplicate of this letter. Of the seven differences found in the two letters, six involved dates. The only other change was a “reference number” at the bottom of the second page. You will see that the current letter has a number of 12264205818 (just to the right of Translation Press address). The new letter changes that to: 12342117930. I assume that helps the “author” keep track of something, but it also means that these letters are in no way unique; they are computer generated for computer use. What‘s the point of putting a meaningless number on a “personal” letter? None, of course, but it can be vitally important when you are generating and sending thousands of these absolutely impersonal SCAM letters. (return to # 1 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 2  “I’m not going to ask you for any money for this work.” REALLY?! So, what does this mean: “Return this application today with $25 dollars payable to Translation Press.” That sure sounds like a request for money, twenty-five dollars, to be exact. You can read that yourself in the “Translation Press Miraculous Life Application” near the end of this page. (return to # 2 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 3  “Ms. Lane” says; “you gave me little to work with” Could that possibly be because we never contacted her? SCAMmers seldom wait to be contacted, they have bought your name and address already. That’s the reason you get their letters. How could you contact them when you’ve never even heard of them before? (return to # 3 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 4  This is the “Don’t Trust Anyone But Me” ploy. The real fear is that you might talk to someone who has seen or heard of this SCAM before. Or someone might mention the “If It Sounds Too Good To Be True...” argument to us. The SCAMmers mantra is to keep any and all facts away from “target” of the SCAM! (return to # 4 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 5  Two problems here.

First, if you are depending on “luck” to solve your problems, any problems, you are asking for something no one can give you. If you think bad “luck” is the cause of any problems, you will never take responsibility for your life. “Ms. Lane” knows this and that’s why she tells you that this is not a “fault of your own” fault. She is leading you toward the wrong solution by absolving you of any responsibility; This is actually proof that you are a complete stranger to her. It is also proof that she has absolutely no love or even respect for you. If she did, she would not be trying to take your money fraudulently! “Ms. Lane’s” single and only concern is to get you to send her some money.

Second, to reinforce her attempt to lead you toward using her as a ‘solution’, she uses a term that is as fake as this ‘lady’; astrocycle. A completely meaningless, non-scientific, unprovable, nonsensical term used only by SCAMmers also known as ‘psychics’, ‘astrologers’, ‘msytics’, ‘seers’, and many other terms synonymous with “liars”. Even flipping a coin is more consistent in providing random ‘solutions’ to a ‘problem’! (return to # 5 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 6  Again, this SCAMmer offers the same things every other SCAM offers; Money, Prosperity, Financial success. Notice, however, that you are never told how or exactly when or how much. But you are always told that you must put complete faith in the complete stranger who sends out thousands of bulk rate letters to anyone they can find an address! Does that make any sense to you? Of course not, but logic and rational thought has nothing to do with any SCAM; you are encouraged, expected, even required to simply trust this complete stranger and do exactly what they tell you, when they tell you, no matter what they tell you! That sounds like a perfect way to completely lose control of your life and finances! (return to # 6 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 7  Sooner or later, every single SCAMmer will make this almost identical plea; “Send me money, immediately!” There are two key ideas in these pleas: 1. Don’t take time to consider what you are doing, just act now! 2. Send the money now and by the time you realize you have’t received anything for it, the SCAMmer will be long gone and untraceable!

I think it might be interesting to note that there is no explicitly stated “guarantee” in this letter. So far, I’ve never seen or heard of any of them being honored, of course, but “Ms. Lane” gives herself a perfect way to deny any refund request even if you should ask for one. While she claims to be 100% certain of what she can do, she also makes it clear that you are only sending an “application” to be “awarded” the “Miraculous Life”! Here are her exact words, “This miraculous life application is only awarded to individuals that I have diagnosed their life situation”. That means, once she gets your money, all she has to do is report that she is unable to make a “diagnosis” for any of a thousand reasons, while still retaining your “application fee”! (return to # 7 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 8  An “amulet” is a piece of jewelry. What she sent us is a picture of what an amulet might look like. Just as this whole letter is fake, so is the “amulet!” They are both false, even fraudulent about what has or will happen. Except the part about sending her your money! That part is, indeed, real! Just don’t do it! Save your money for something of true value and worth! (return to # 8 Red Flag above)

“If you do not wish to proceed, if you do not desire my intervention and friendship, THEN THE ENVELOPE ENCLOSED WITH THE SEAL OF CONFIDENTIALITY, IS NOT FOR YOU! Dispose of it and never think of me again.” That is the best advice “Ms. Lane” may have ever provided!
